Pelham Pugh writes the kind of stories born on back roads and riverbanks. Southern noir, his specialty, is shaped by family secrets, old grievances, and the quiet weight of memory. My style
I write Southern noir shaped by real places and real people. My stories blend crime, family tension, and moral ambiguity with the atmosphere of back roads, riverbanks, pine shadows, and small-town secrets.
