Raised in Alabama’s Wiregrass region, I grew up surrounded by fading towns, restless fields, and the heavy silence of history.

That silence shapes every word I write.

I am the author of Perfidious Tides, Last Castle in the Sky, and the upcoming Live the Last Day.

My work explores the dark edges of family, memory, and survival — blending Southern Gothic atmosphere with modern Southern noir grit.

When I’m not writing, I travel the backroads of the Deep South, visiting historic sites and forgotten places that inspire the worlds behind my stories.

I believe the best stories aren't just told — they're remembered.

They live in the creaking floorboards of an abandoned house.
They whisper from a half-broken gravestone at a county-line cemetery.
